Mix in a heavy dosage of blasphemy:

Duterte: I can teach God about justice

    28 September 2016

He has berated Barack Obama, denounced Ban Ki Moon and called Pope Francis the “son of a whore”. Now Rodrigo Duterte has taken on God.

In a speech defending his plans to reintroduce capital punishment, Mr Duterte, who describes himself as a believer, pointed out shortcomings in the Almighty’s approach to justice and suggested that the death penalty was necessary to make up for divine inconsistency.

Addressing journalists at Malacañang presidential palace in Manila, he denounced "bleeding hearts" in the Roman Catholic Church who opposed the death penalty. "The people of the Philippines no longer believed in the law because the fear is not there," he said. "The problem there is ... what if there is ... "

The idiot is back. To explain it allegorically ... he has an elevator problem. His just doesn't run to the top. And he expects the rest of us to magically be as stupid as he is.

CIDG-8 chief on Espinosa jail raid: ‘Just doing our job’

    10 November 2016

The chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Eastern Visayas (CIDG-8) on Thursday asserted that their operation to serve a search warrant on slain Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr. was legitimate, appealing for public trust as he and his men faced suspicion for the raid. Trust us, we’re just doing our job,” Supt. Marvin Marcos told reporters as he emerged from the nearly eight-hour hearing at the Senate.

    ...

But Marcos explained the inconsistencies, saying he had based the timeline he presented before the Senate on messages related to the mission on his mobile phone. He said he had encountered trouble sending the text messages because of poor mobile phone signal in the area. “When we got to Baybay, we were no longer aware of the time until we got to the jail … When you’re an operative—ask any operative around—you don’t look at the time,” he told reporters. He said he was “absolutely sure” that the team only called for scene of the crime operatives after shots were fired.

The time stamp on a text message is the time you hit the "Send" button, not the time that the transmission actually happens.

Every time this idiot runs his mouth, he incriminates himself.

Pathetic: Cops claim to be "just doing our job" by executing people in their jail cells and then refuse to cooperate with a legitimate investigative request.

Cop in Espinosa raid who called Soco refuses to turn over phone

    10 November 2016

Supt. Santi Noel Matira, a member of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) unit in Region 8 that raided Espinosa’s cell at the provincial jail, invoked his right to privacy during the hearing of the Senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs on the killing of the mayor on Thursday.
